A minimalist, hexagonal planter, hand-crafted in our London studio. The larger size of a pair of hexagonal planters in this colour, that also come in two other earth-tone colours that may be mixed and matched. The planter has a drainage hole, and the option of a matching tray. Each piece is unique and made to order. The hand-polished surface has a subtle sheen.
The concrete and pigment is mixed by hand before casting, and hand-polished and buffed in several layers using all-natural wax made from a blend of carnauba and beeswax, containing antimicrobial orange and lemon extracts that add a light scent to the concrete's surface. Please note that the wax will protect the product from light staining and liquid, but concrete is a porous material and staining will occur over time if liquids are left on the surface, or with frequent watering of plants within the planter. The surface can be gently cleaned using a micro-fibre cloth, but please do not clean in the sink or dishwasher.
Please bear in mind that due to the unique nature of each piece, pigmentation may vary slightly from the image and the piece may become lighter in the weeks after purchase due to the slow evaporation of water from the concrete's interior.
Small rubber feet are attached to the tray to protect your surfaces. At its widest and longest points the planter is 12 x 12 cm without the tray. The matching tray measures 16.5 x 16.5 x 1.5 cm.
The piece will come lovingly wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and fully bio-degradable and/or recyclable packaging - please remember to recycle.
As each piece is made to order, there is a maximum 1-2 week processing time. However, we aim to dispatch orders as soon as possible.
